Entry: Pencils and Shades Friday, June 15, 2007

Late posting.  Board Exams are finished.  Whew.  Huge load off my back.

It was unexpectedly easier than I thought.  Of course, I'm not saying it was THAT EASY, but more on that I was expecting a rather difficult one. Honestly I thought I would see "hell on a piece of paper". LOL.

It was actually a bitter sweet feeling.  Bitter because I spent a lot of hours reviewing various diseases and interventions, which of course did not appear in the exams.  And sweet because it was more subjective and was a lot easier for the rest of us.  Although for me, I would have preferred an objective type of test.

My wrist kinda got cramped because of the excessive and forced shading on the test papers.  You know, they had those boxes where you had to shade them with a pencil.

By the way, I would just like to share, I found a lot of funny choices in the exams.  And what do I mean funny?  LOL.  Imagine.  A room filled with examinees, all looking either serious, distraught and constipated, analyzing their answers.  When suddenly, I start smiling and chuckling to myself. ROFL.

Hahahah.  In filipino terms, mukha akong tanga - - tumatawa mag-isa.

But of course, I can't divulge all of the questions from the exams, that would be "ethically incorrect" ( nax! ), lol syempre professional na tau. But I'll post something,  one question similar ( similar, something related to, but not the exact question nor the exact choices, just one similar to the choice that made me laugh ) to it that made me bust my ass out of laughing.

Question :  Someone asks you about artificial insemination.  What would you say?
a. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
b. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
c. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
d.  Sperm will be administered "intravenously" per week.

Hahahah! OMG I was literally laughing my brains out.  Diyos ko!  Yung tamod daw i-su-swero.  At bawat linggo pa. Hahahahahah.  Oops~ please mind my language.

ROFL. There were  a lot more funny choices in most of the questions, lol.  Its a good thing to know that the people in the Board of Nursing has a sense of humor.
